Digital + UX
To me, the most important aspect of an interface is to design in a way that tells an intentional story, and that never leaves the user guessing what they should be doing.
Loeb Electric
I worked to create Wordpress-ready page templates for a national electric supplier. It was important to establish credibility by telling the story of the people behind the business, as opposed to bombarding the user with an overwhelming amount of products.
The James Cancer Hospital @ The Ohio State University (Wireframes)
Designed wireframes for 30+ pages, based on strategic research.
Final designs were created by another team member, but I wanted to highlight my UX contributions to the project.
I also worked on developing global color + typographic styles to be used across the website, developing styles that provided enough contrast to build hierarchy, within an already very-well established brand like The Ohio State University.
Caster Connection
I designed a mega-menu that allows users to navigate a large number of items in a clear and easy to follow way.
I also designed a journey for how a user might compare product specifications.
Wine Drinker Persona Development
I took it upon myself to dive into what drives Americans to participate in the $220 billion wine industry — through research done online and in-person.
Abercrombie & Fitch
Blocks
Blocks is an application concept designed to simplify the college book reading and purchasing experience.
Geared toward college aged students but could easily be adapted for grade school students
Millennials read, but they read differently than other generations.
Textbooks are costly and clunky, and often cast aside, ignored, or merely overlooked as a necessity altogether.
Millennials are also busy people who multitask constantly.
Customization is another important element to include in this application.
Like brands that regularly engage them. Loyalty programs, recognition awards, and special access to sales are important.
